What a digital pet passport is
It is a digital copy of the paper veterinary passport plus everything the booklet has no room for: vet visits, medications, parasite treatments and what you feed. The data lives in your account and opens from any device - regardless of where the booklet itself is right now.
You don't need to type everything in. Photograph the pages of the paper passport - the service reads the name, vaccination dates, vaccine names and the microchip number and fills in the card itself. All that's left is to check a couple of fields and add what the passport never had.
What the passport gives you in the first year
The first year is when the dates come thickest: a series of core vaccinations, rabies, the microchip, deworming, the 26-week booster. From the date of birth the service builds a first-year plan - what to do, when and why - and reminds you of every step in advance. Anything already done is taken from the passport, so the plan never drifts from what is recorded.
The plan is a guide based on WSAVA 2024 and ESCCAP 2025. Exact dates are set by your vet: vaccines from different manufacturers have their own schedules.
What the passport stores
- Name, species, breed, date of birth, sex, colour and distinguishing marks
- Microchip and tattoo numbers
- Vaccinations: vaccine, date and validity
- Deworming and flea & tick treatments - with the next due date
- Medications: ongoing and courses, dose and frequency
- Vet visits and procedures: what was done, when and at which clinic
- Food: what you feed now and which food did not suit
- Allergies and free-form notes
Why digital, if there is a paper one
- It is always with you. Vet appointment, boarding, moving house - the passport opens on your phone.
- It doesn't get lost. There is one paper copy; the data in your account opens from any device.
- It reminds you itself. You don't need to keep vaccination dates in your head - a notification arrives.
- It can be shown via QR code. The vet opens the passport by link, read-only, without signing up.
- It can be kept by two people. A second owner, a relative or a pet sitter sees the same records.
How to create a passport in a couple of minutes
Photograph the passport
Take the pages with data - several in a row is fine. Recognition pulls out names, dates and numbers.
Answer a couple of questions
Whatever couldn't be read, the service asks with buttons. You can dictate by voice.
Turn on reminders
From then on the service keeps track of the dates itself and gives you a QR link for the vet.
You can have several pets: tell us about all of them at once, in one dictation - a separate card is created for each.
What the digital passport does not replace
For borders, shows and official procedures you still need the original paper passport with vaccine stickers and clinic stamps, and a veterinary certificate for travel. The digital passport is your complete, always-available copy: it helps you miss nothing and show the history to a vet quickly, but it has no legal force of its own.
FAQ
How much does the pet passport cost?
Nothing. The passport, QR access for the vet, vaccination and treatment reminders, the first-year plan and feedings are in the Free plan - we don't ask for a card.
Does the vet need to sign up to see the passport?
No. You show a QR code or send a link - the passport opens in the browser, read-only. The vet needs neither an account nor an app.
What if there is no paper passport?
Fill it in step by step. The service asks short questions - species, breed, age, vaccinations - and builds the card from the answers. You can answer by text or voice.
Can I add several pets?
Yes. The Free plan covers one pet, Basic up to three, Premium has no limit. You can describe all of them in one message: the service understands there are several pets and offers to create a card for each.
Who can see my pet's data?
Only you, the people you invited yourself, and whoever you showed the QR link to. The passport is not public and is not indexed by search engines.
